Praktisches Terrarium mit Seitenbelüftung und vormonierter Front.
Dieses Terrarium hat eine holzgerahmte Glasfront mit insgesamt 4 Scheiben Floatglas (4mm, geschliffene Kanten). Zwei davon sind fest im Rahmen verankert (festmontiert), die anderen zwei sind die Glasschiebetüren, welche einfach nur noch in die schon vorhandenen Nuten eingesetzt werden müssen. Das Terrarium wird ohne Zubehör und Dekoration geliefert.
- Im unteren Bereich beträgt die Bodengrundfüllhöhe mind. 10 cm
- Der Korpus besteht aus formaldehydfreier OSB Platte mit 12 mm Stärke.
- OSB ist ein sehr einfacher Werksstoff.
- Bohrungen bzw. Löcher für Kabel oder ähnliches sind nicht vorhanden und können daher individuell gesetzt werden.
Material:
- 12mm starke OSB- Platten, formaldehydfrei, sehr gute Wärmeisolierung
- zwei eingelassen Glasschiebetüren 4 mm stark aus Floatglas, beide Seiten sind zum Schieben
- keine Verwendung von Silikon oder ähnlichem
- 2 Lüftungsgitter aus Kunststoff
Montage:
Die Montage ist kinderleicht und sollte innerhalb von 15 Minuten erledigt sein.

- Glasfront ist vollständig montiert, hier müssen nur noch die Schiebetüren eingesetzt werden
- Alle Holzplatten haben bereits Vorbohrungen und können direkt verschraubt werden
- Sie benötigen lediglich einen Kreuzschraubenzieher (ideal ist ein Akkuschrauber)
Sonstiges:
- Das Terrarium ist vollständig in Deutschland von einem Schreinermeisterbetrieb produziert worden, ist also vollständig "Made in Germany" . Die Leisten des Frontrahmens sind in einer Möbelfabrik gefertigt worden, und erfüllen einen sehr hohen Qualitätsstandard.

Leider zu gravierende Mängel, welche der Amateur nicht hätte ausbessern können.
Hätte ich keine eigene Werkstatt, und zwei linke Hände, dann würde das Terrarium auf jeden Fall kaum zu gebrauchen. Die Fensterführungen waren so unsauber, dass die Scheiben auf einer Seite einfach stecken blieben. Da musste weiter ausgefräst werden.
Die Front, welche ja zum Schluss eingesetzt werden soll, war, trotz präziser Montierung, einfach gute 11mm zu kurz. So einen Spalt kann man nicht einfach mit Schrauben zusammenquetschen, ohne dass es im Anschluss einfach hässlich ausschaut. Ich musste feine Holzlamellen pass genau zusägen um die Lücke optisch sauber füllen zu können. Die Packung war leider auch an 2 Stellen beschädigt, so dass das OSB leicht splitterte.
Das kann bestimmt alles mal passieren in der Produktion, es hat trotzdem noch mehrere Stunden dann gebraucht, um das Becken optimal zusammenzusetzen- ich gehe von aus, dass auch nicht jeder die spezifischen Werkzeuge zu Hause hat. Ich will MS Reptilien nicht schlecht reden, hab immer gute Erfahrungen machen können, diese Bestellung war nur ein dicker Schuss in den Ofen. Kann vorkommen.
Vielen Dank für die ausführliche Problemschilderung. Wir werden es an den Hersteller weiter geben, damit nachgeschaut werden kann, wo das Problem der unsauberen Herstellung liegt
