Bearded Dragon NZ´10 Pogona vitticeps

Mittlerweile die beliebtesten Echsen in der Terraristik. Mit einer maximalen Größe (inklusive Schwanz) von 50-60 cm lassen sich adulte Tiere in einem Wüstenterrarium von 120-150 cm gut halten. Die Tiere sind von Natur aus ruhig und zutraulich und machen auch in der Zucht keine großen Probleme. Wichtig ist eine sehr hohe Temperatur im Terrarium von 35 bis (unterm Sonnenplatz) 50° C. Außerdem müssen die Tiere durch abendliches (oder auch zusätzlich morgendliches Sprühen die Möglichkeit zum trinken haben. Vor allem Jungtiere trocknen sehr schnell aus, wenn sie nicht genügend trinken. Die Jungtiere sind jetzt ca. 12 cm groß.
