Albino retic python, ca 300 cm NZ’07 Broghammerus (Python) reti
We have some beautifull Albino Retics. Nice and tame animals. The erection of the new genus Broghammerus (HOSER 2004) was again confirmed by DNA test in 2008 for the two species Broghammerus reticulatus (retic python) and Broghammerus timorensis (timor python). Our great thanks to Ray Hoser for this big honour. This new name will replace in the next few years the still used, but for this species not actual genus python.

Timorpython, 1.0 NZ´adult Broghammerus timorensis
Timorpython sind sehr hübsche asiatische Pythons, die sich aber leider nur sehr schwer züchten lassen. Weltweit beißen sich da einige Züchter die Zähne aus. In den letzten Jahren gab es einige Zuchterfolge, aber meines Wissens meist eher zufällig oder in den Ursprungsgebieten als Farmzuchten. Früher hießen die Tiere Python timorensis, der Name wurde 2004 von Ray Hoser zu Broghammerus revidiert.
